I love and live for the bright yellow golden sunlight! It brings me so much joy and the colors never disappoint. I dreamed up this beautiful setting for an engagement session with Jennifer of Busy Bees Floral Design and we were so excited to do something create and different.
When arriving at Distinct Locations new Healdsburg venue, Green Acres, you are immediately inspired by the beautiful vineyard views, various sculptures decorating the property, and an overall relaxed vibe to the venue.
The vision for this photo shoot was dreamed up by Erin of Events by Pins & Petals and Jennifer of Busy Bees Floral Design who were inspired by the ornate ceramic head sculptures with colorful painted butterflies located around the property. These sculptures gave a bright palette to inspire the overall design for the photo shoot that was so much fun to capture!
The table was designed to be vibrant, fun and whimsical! Jennifer designed a mixture of various floral arrangements to adorn the table that included bright pink and purple mixes of roses, peonies, ranunculus, and orchids in moss covered terrariums. To balance the beautiful bold colors of the flowers and the bright watercolor table linen provided by Pleasanton Rentals, the place settings were toned down. Erin chose a wooden charger, gray stoneware china with a textured swiss dot salad plate, bronze flatware and a mercury glass votive filling in as a water goblet. The place settings were completed with a knotted blue linen napkin.
The colorful table decor paired beautifully with a playful bohemian style bridal gown designed by Willow by Watters from Brides on Hartz, and a textured velvet jacket and floral bow tie for the groom. Beauty on Set kept the bride's makeup soft and natural with a dewy glow, and she carried a stunning bouquet coordinating with the table flowers, full of vibrant purples, pinks and bright greenery.
Golden hour at Reinstein Ranch is one of the most grogeous places… ever! This bridal shoot was stunning and it is always a treat to work with such an amazing teams of talent!
